B.Tech is definitely a better option after 10+2 in comparison to Diploma in engineering after class 12th from a Polytechnic. If you do Diploma in Engineering, you will take six years (3 in Diploma and 3 in B.Tech) to become an engineer, whereas if you do B.Tech after class 12th, then you will become an engineer in 4 years. A Diploma is a good option after class 10th. -
