Which is the best option after MCA?

I am an average student. I don't have any practical knowledge of programming languages. Currently pursing MCA. Also have interest in social work.

    Hi,
    -> There are many options for MCA graduates for higher studies. Master of Computer Application itself is a post graduation course, but there are students who like to improve their skills and knowledge by doing some other courses after MCA.
    1) Some of the higher degree courses available after MCA are:
    -PhD
    -MBA
    -MS
    -M. Tech or ME
    2) Other certification courses are :
    -Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
    -Microsoft Certified Architect
    3) Short term courses after MCA are :
    -ASP.Net
    -J2EE
    -Data warehousing
    -PHP

    After MCA, you have two options, either you may continue studies or you may start working.
    1)
    If you wish to study further, then below is the list of options available for you. Opt for the one which matches your interest and skills.
    * You can go for long term courses such as :
    -Master of Business Administration
    -Master of Science
    -Master of Technology
    -PhD
    * Some of the short term certificate courses are :
    -Software Testing
    -Hardware
    -Networking
    -Database

    Hi,
    Ideally, you should go for job or higher education such as M.TECH/ MBA. However, if your interest lies in Social Works, then you can opt for a masters degree in Sociology.
    The basic eligibility for pursuing M.A Sociology is having a graduation degree in any stream.
    *However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Sociology or Sociology as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized college/university.
    *Some even ask for a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct an entrance examination.
