Which is the best option among AICTE approved PGDM & MBA (Bangalore University) in terms of recognition, placement, learning & scope?

I heard that PGDM is not a Master's degree but is a business study as compared to MBA. I don't have any idea, kindly suggest.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) is two years degree course in the field of management. In India MBA degree can be awarded by any recognised university or by a Business School affiliated to any university. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two years diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated to any university. It is not mandatory that a PGDM is equal to MBA. PGDM institutes accreditation by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) makes an institute's PGDM course equivalent to an MBA.

    Hi,
It totally depends on the college you choose.
PGDM is more industry related with lots of practical exposure and has got high demand in the market if you do it from any Tier-I or Tier-II college. But, PGDM from Tier III or Tier IV colleges do not have any demand in the market even though if it's approved by AICTE. Also, PGDM is more costly as compared to MBA but the package offered in PGDM is very high.
So, here PGDM has got more scope, placement opportunities and learning exposure if you do it from top 30 colleges.
