Both have same subjects and syllabus. But B.Tech can be considered as a professional course in engineering and it is designed to be job oriented. Modern BE syllabus focuses more on these aspects too but it is getting outdated. Neverthless both are considered equivalent at nearly all places.

Get a B.Tech as nowadays BE is lesser nowadays. Both are same only the abbreviation is different. Moreover nowadays as everything is related to technology so the name is given as B.Tech however don't get confused over the name just get the degree from a reputed institute. BE or B.Tech doesn't matter
