Which is the best option among pursuing CSE from LPU and civil engineering from Thapar? My son is getting admission in both.

I personally believe that every branch has a scope if you have a strong orientation and you don't leave any stone unturned learn it. To start with Civil engineering is the professional practice of designing and developing infrastructure projects. Now computer Science is one of the most sought-after branches with broad career prospects in India and overseas. LPU has new curriculum, state-of-the-art labs, coding culture, hackathons, and collaborations with top organizations like Microsoft, Google, Amazon which assist students in placements. Most of the students of LPU CSE have received extremely good offers in good companies. Apart from academics, LPU also offers exposure through international collaborations and student exchange programs. Civil engineering is a good branch too, but in terms of that, CSE of LPU can provide more avenues in IT sector, start-ups and research. If your son is interested in technology, coding, and innovation, then LPU CSE will be the best choice for him.</p>

Aniket, CSE is in demand and every year a lot professionals are required and hired by various MNCs to take care of their IT departments. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. The ones placed have been of packages as high as 20 LPA. I Had same question when I was seeking the place for my higher studies. I am an alumni of LPU and My real brother is also LPU passed out with CSE. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. They follow these things and result is lot of deserved and eligible students got the best places. Even my brother also is working at MNC with very good reputed brand those who are not able to achieve anything due to their own mistakes then Grapes are sour. You understand what I mean. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. UMS is the best and main toll actually that is centralized one system for all Academic operations. Almost everything is online in the campus. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. According to placements, CSE at LPU is best. But is also depends on your son's interest to choose a branch between civil or CSE. If solely talking about placements CSE is better. Good luck.
