    All depends on your personal interest. You need to evaluate your own goals, passion and decide which stream you should select. Both the streams have their own field to excel in. So its upto you. B.Tech in mechanical engineering will obviously put you into job sector faster. All the best. Thank you.

    After B.Sc Hons Physics there are following career options:
    (a) M.Sc-PhD to join as R&D professional
    (b) B.Ed to become a teacher
    (c) Lateral entry admission in B.Tech
    (d) MCA
    (e) M.Sc CS / IT
    (f) MBA
    (g) LLB
    (h) Master in Social Works
    (I) Master in Mass Communication
    (j) Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC
    (k) SSC exam for subordinate services
    (l) CDS examination conducted by UPSC
    (m) Asst Commandent exam conducted by UPSC for paramilitary forces.
    (n) PO and clerical services examinations of Public Sector, etc.

    If you like teaching line then BSC maths is good option if you want to go in companies and like machine designing then Btech mechanical field is good ,
