Which is the best option for a good future: B.Tech or B.Sc?

Hey Mithuna, If you want to study more and dream a beautiful future, you must go through BSc with a good Hons. like Physics/Chemistry/Maths. It may take some more time. If you have a good academic career and a good knowledge you have a better future. I dont say Engineering is worse. But you may face a large competition with a insecure future. If you really want to do Engineering than work hard to get admission in IIT/NIT/other top institutions. Otherwise there is no guarantee to get a high salary job. Many of my friends are getting a salary about twenty thousand rupees only at Mumbai/Chennai/Hyderabad after BTech degree. I think its too low. If they quit the job, the post will never remain empty because there are plenty of degree holders waiting for that. If you want to join Govt. service, then both have same value[in most cases]. Most Govt. jobs need graduation as qualification requirement, BSc or BTech is not important. It is hard to tell which is better My suggestion is to set a target, prepare a plan and follow it. :) Thanks!
