Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the university intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA! Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields.

Both are good but in the case of infrastructure, placement and facility LPU is better than any other University. As per my experience, LPU is the best engineering college in India. I think you should go with Chandigarh University. Although the placements account in the capabilities of a student also, but when it comes to giving opportunities then Chandigarh University is far ahead than others. Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 290+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 70+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 36 LPA was offered by TOP Company.

CSE placement is not a one-off task; it needs a significant amount of effort in terms of curriculum creation, teaching methodology, infrastructure, professional etiquette, diversity, industry interface, technological trainings, and industry feedback, among other things. Because the sector is very dynamic and technological advancements are occurring at a fast pace. The university must adapt to this change. However, just a few colleges in India are innovative enough to update their curricula on a regular basis based on industry input. Only those who have been able to alter their curriculum and teaching technique are considered good.
