Which is the best option for CSE among Chandigarh University, Nirma University, LPU and IPU?

I would suggest you to go with Chandigarh University because this is going to be a good choice among all these mentioned universities and I am too going to take admission this year in Chandigarh University.

As per my experience, Chandigarh University is the top university in terms of ranking, placements and accreditation. Ranked by NIRF, MHRD, government of India for Engineering and Management programs. Check the NIRF website if you have any doubts. Engineering and management courses are NBA accredited The highest placement packages are: 52.7 LPA, MBA has 28 LPA the highest package. Adjudged as UNIVERSITY WITH BEST PLACEMENTS by WCRC. Located in the vicinity of Chandigarh, Some people say it is not in Chandigarh. The reason is Chandigarh University is a big university and has grown a lot. Chandigarh University maintains student welfare services that are impartially available to all the University students. From academic to social or psychological problem, students can avail help for anything they face.

I would say that the best option is Chandigarh University as it offers best teaching learning experience. The university ahs numerous accreditation and best placement record. Many firms have been visited, including Infosys, TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, and more. On average, about 600 firms visit. Amazon recently made 11 offerings, while Nokia made 90. The largest available number is 22 LPA, while the standard 5 is LPA. About 80-85 percent of students are enrolled. Chandigarh University puts new benchmarks on educational system. For many years the first rating agencies, for example, Microsoft, Amazon, Walt Disney, IBM, Flipkart, SAP Labs visited the CU Campus to register new talent. Therefore, Chandigarh University has been awarded the title of "University with the Best Places" in India. With more than 757 Multi-Nationals visiting the CU Campus in 2021-22, the number of offers is linked to 8000+ and the most notable number has been 30% improvement and has reached a maximum of 52.11 LPA.

Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 300+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 80+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 52.11 LPA was offered by TOP Company.

IPU is a Government (State) University with comparatively less fee than the other three options. B.Tech CSE would fetch you the best in LPU and CU. Both being commendable in CSE job placements. So your final answer lies in the distinction b/w CU and LPU. Go for the best after some deep research! All the best.

Ashish, these days private universities have become a hub of quality education and good placements. LPU has become a brand in itself by earning a good name for itself in the field of education. They are providing good placements to students. Also, they prepare the students for it through special inputs. CSE/ IT branch has good placements with good packages being offered to students. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.
