    LPU is good colleges for B.Tech CSE I know this because my brother is pass out student from Lovely Professional University and he told me that so many organizations visited campus for placement process with a good package, average package for CSE student is 4 lacs per annum and if a student maintains his/her CGPA then definitely he/she will be placed. My brother is very good in programming and he got a job at Amazon with a package of 15 lacs per annum.     LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants.     Undoubtedly, LPU is the best as compared to Amrita. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions.     To answer your Question I will break it into few points:
    1. Cultural Diversity: In LPU you will find students not only from every Indian state but from around the world. If you want to learn any skill like guitar or dance in LPU its free of cost. You will see lots of Bollywood stars in campus throughout the year.

Hi there,  

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
