LPU is good colleges for B.Tech CSE I know this because my brother is pass out student from Lovely Professional University and he told me that so many organizations visited campus for placement process with a good package, average package for CSE student is 4 lacs per annum and if a student maintains his/her CGPA then definitely he/she will be placed. My brother is very good in programming and he got a job at Amazon with a package of 15 lacs per annum. I have seen his growth in academic as well as, as a human being, LPU provides a platform for the student to enhance their skills in sports, co-curricular, cultural activities, practical exposure, etc. He wrote an entrance exam for Eligibility and Scholarship and on the basis of this test, he got a scholarship for his degree (4 years). He told me about the student organizations of which he was a member. His team conducted a fundraising event so that they can provide useful things to a school and an old age home. Their team also took orphans to a Science city tour. They had organised much free health check-up camp in villages. All these activities have improved his managing skills, time management, presentation skills. I noticed that after joining LPU he improved a lot. He also said that university provides a platform to the students to run their own venture, a student can avail SEED money for initiating the project. He started his own venture on campus and did well in that. He was staying in a hostel because services are too good like mess facility, internet services, tv room, biometric facility and wardens are so supportive. He is also a badminton player and got a chance to play in AIU and won many prizes. He told me he was enrolled in Professional Enhancement programme and curriculum incorporates specific courses to crack the placement processes.

Most of the universities run CSE as just another programme ! But it is so dynamic that its is difficult to cope up with the rapid changes in field of technology. The curators struggle due to lack of resources and intellect. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. If you want to learn any skill like guitar or dance in LPU its free of cost. You will see lots of Bollywood stars in campus throughout the year. 2. Fees: If you have a good percentage in 12th you'll be getting a scholarship in LPU. If fees are same depends upon you. 3. Placement: In Amrita, if you are going for B.Tech/MBA you will find more job opportunity as you are in Bangalore and it is the Silicon Valley of the country. In LPU lots of companies will come for drive Cognizant, HCL and Tech M are some of mass recruiter. So if you have 70 % throughout, LPU will provide you with enough opportunity to be placed in industry. Even if you are not placed you can try for off-campus in Bangalore.
