Dear Jaspreet, LPU would be the best option for mechanical engineering among LPU and Chandigarh University. LPU is good in terms of quality education and placements. The highest package offered for the mechanical engineering is 31 LPA. I would share details of this programme at LPU as my friend did B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from LPU itself. LPU has ranked 66th in the engineering category by NIRF-2021 rankings. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Being LPU alumni I would recommend B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, I am sharing my friend review regarding this course, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round develop

To answer your question I would give you very simple reason that makes me firmly believe in LPU as always a better university. I am an alumnae of LPU and had witnessed the overall system of education in there. The reason I say LPU is the BEST because in the process of Engineering the university also worked on my overall development. Whatever I am today is because of the training and learning I had it from there. The complete system of the university is as per the corporate model. Starting right from the conduction of classes, time management and ums, deadlines and assignment submissions, club activities, student engagement programs, ha

The career scope of mechanical engineers is quite broad as this field includes umpteen types of work. Whether it is designing of power-using machines like a refrigerator or power-producing machines, like electric-based generators, the engineers with the mechanical background can execute all these works in an efficient way. Though both the universities are good in academic structure but being an alumni let me share the details. The school has well qualified and experienced faculty members with specialisation in various fields like, Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, CAD/CAM, Engineering Design, Industrial Engineering, Machin

Mechanical Engineering is a highly dynamic programme, it requires the university/college to upgrade its curriculum as per industry which changes really fast. Very few universities have recognised this and developed the systems to inculcate this important point. Only LPU and to some extent Thapar and PEC in northern part of India have been able to do it. There is no parameter in which LPU can be beaten by any other private university, usually I compare on parameters such as:
    1. Industry consulted curriculum
    2. Teaching pedagogy
    3. Centers of excellence
    4. Professional etiquette
    5. Student and faculty diversity
    6 Innovation, design thinking an
