    For preparing for CAT what you need most is availability of books, availability of some good teachers who can solve the problems or guide you timely, a good group of friends / students preparing for the same exam and who are prepared to discuss or ask each other to help increase the momentum of study and a good calm place where you can study in a focused manner without getting disturbed.
