Which is the best place to pursue MBA among India or abroad? If abroad, which are the good institutes?

If you can get admission in top colleges in India, then nothing is better than that else prefer doing MBA from a good UK, USA, Canada or Australian university.

It is a personal question and varies greatly from person to person. That being said, both India and abroad have profound opportunites and boths have their pros and cons. However, since I personally believe that MBA is still much more valuable a degree when done from abroad so I would name a few top colleges from where you can do your MBA. 1. LBS 2. Insead 3. Harvard 4. Stanford 5. UC Berkley 6. Wharton 7. NYU 8. NUS 9. HEC 10. IE 11. MIT 12. Oxford 13. Cambridge 14. Yale 15. Dartmouth From india doing an MBA or so as to say doing a PGDM that too only from the top IIMs namely A,B,C,K,U,L,I and a few non IIMs such as XLRI, FMS, SPJAIN or ISB are all worth the money and time.

You also need a great Gmat score and work experience to get in the above institutions mentioned.

It depends on whether you wish to build a career in India or abroad. An MBA from abroad is generally more expensive. So most students prefer to work there post MBA to recoup their cost. Some of the top MBA institutes / universities abroad are: Harvard, Stafford, Wharton, Kelling, Insead MITYou can check out the financial times rankings to see a more detailed list. An MBA from a top college in India is as good an option if you wish to stay in India.
