Yes, Being a Alumni of Lovely Professional University, I can say that LPU is best private University to purse B.Sc. (Hons)Agriculture. If you are looking for quality education and good placements along with learned faculty work hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then LPU is the place for you to go for. LPUs school of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states. I have two friends who did same course from LPU. LPU has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for its students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc. Along with class room teaching. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph.Ds and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. as part of the curriculum to prepare the students.
