Streams in demand are electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, computer science and engineering, instrumentation and so on. Considering the trends in industrial growth the world over, electronics and computer science streams seem to have good prospects. If you aim at opportunities public sector such as State Electricity Boards, BHEL, Power Grid Corporation etc, then electrical engineering will have a good say. The scope again depends on the qualities of the person who is entitled to compete in the job market.
