In today's market, the best course for Engineering are in the order:
    1. Computer Science Engineering
    2. Information Technology
    3. Electronics and Communication Engineering
Anyway, I will always suggest you to go by your interest. So what you can do is, to check the syllabus of different streams on google and then choose the stream which falls best into your interest. Hope it will help. For further doubt, you can ask in the comment section.

u can't say which engineering stream is best, but if you are looking for early job then go for electrical engineering.
every sector provides great opportunities but u must have that talent or the knowledge of that particular field to become an 'ACE' of that field.
  • Hello Bharath,
It all depends on your interest but generally there is no branch which is bad or good as each branch has its own pros and cons and each is best in their stream.
For all branches, there are jobs available but you need to be selective in the colleges.
Keeping an eye on future, the course preference may be:
    1) Computer Science Engineering
    2) ECE
    3) Mechatronics
    4) Mechanical engineering
    5) EEE
