    Well, the most preferred thing in engineering today is IT industry, but to pursue a full time career in IT industry to need to be professional in all respects and that demands a lot of passion. You should be a developer more than just an IT slave. If you are good at developing means that you need to have good knowledge about most of the programming languages and which of them is in demand in the industry at that instant of time that makes you ore flexible engineer.     It is a myth for best stream in engineering. All that matter is in which career/ stream you are interested in. Top payers are IT ones, petroleum, power and even aeronautical. Focus and choose upon the one you wish to become.
