    Hello,
    According to me, coaching is not the main step for starting preparation for IAS. All you need is proper guidance and if you want to join the coaching then you can join by 3rd year. But as per my suggestion if you have proper guidance then self study is the best key to success in exam.

    Hi
    Take a look at the entrance paper and check your level first. By the second year, you should start regular studies for upsc and take coaching at the start of third year. Rest will depend on your persistence and hard work.
