I have done engineering from LPU and I have a lot of friends from the civil branch and they all are placed in good sectors with great packages. Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha (UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd. , KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamics, CVENT, Rishishwar Construction, Premier Developers and Contractors, etc. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will

Both the universities are good. At LPU B Tech Civil engineering programme articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental, Highway Engineering, Construction Management which are in sync with industry expectations. One needs an aggregate of 60 percent with PCM in class 12. There are professionally trained faculty at LPU who impart both theoretical and practical knowledge for the holistic development of the students. In addition to it, there is a dedicated department in LPU that looks into preparing students for placements. They train th

LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. There are many parameters to scale these universities. Being private, there norms are same. Though, For civil, I suggest you Amity University. Amity though has a large network in India with around 6 campuses and a better alumni network. LPU has more number of south Indian students some of which are still struggling to pass the exams hence the quality of students is average (only for core branches). Amity overall is better for civil (precisely) as the civil department of LPU is not that much good. Moreover, Amity is a bit costlier so change your branch to ECE or CSE (only if you can) and come to LPU, which will actually be worth.

As the country goes up for infrastructure upgrade, demand for quality civil engineers is on the increase. This calls for an optimum blend of industry exposure and technical know-how in the students-to-be-engineers. At the department of civil engineering, Amity groom the students to be industry ready professionals. Amity has a great infrastructure with very helping and understanding faculty. With a lot of facilities like good library, labs etc.
  • Dear Pulket,
LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students. Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo

Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for sports programs like B.P.Ed is totally offline. It's this practical fitness check with stuff like a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for girls), and a 1000m run/walk—all done on campus with invigilators watching to keep it fair.
No online version here since it's hands-on physical activities, and you gotta bring your own sports kit or they won't let you in. LPU runs it in multiple schedules based on registrations, super flexible for everyone. Honestly, it's cool how they make it real-world ready witho

Hey, so the LPU Physical Efficiency Test (PET) isn't some super long drag—it's more like a quick fitness check that usually wraps up in 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how fit you are. You've got to nail a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for gals), and a 1000m run/walk, all in one go with up to two tries. No fixed "hours" timer since it's practical stuff, not a marathon sit-down exam.LPU keeps it real and fair, testing real stamina for sports courses like B.P.Ed—super helpful to see if you're ready without wasting your day. Bring your own kit or you're out, but slots are flexible
