I will share something which I experienced before getting admission in LPU. When I was about to complete my schooling, we (my family) started looking for a good college for mw. This is when one of my family friends told us about Lovely Professional University. Both of their children had graduated from LPU and they had some great things to say about the university. This is when we decided to visit the campus. We had a talk with the staff and faculty to know more about the university. In addition to this, we also had a talk with the students of the university. Here is a list of factors on which we reviewed LPU to decide whether we should go for it or not. The current students of LPU told us that the faculty is very friendly and considerate. Apart from helping the student academically, the highly-experienced faculty works towards the all-round development of the student at LPU. We got to know that the students at LPU get a chance to work in Fortune 500 Companies. They get a chance to work with Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and many other international companies. LPU has also recorded the highest number of placements in the past years with more and more students getting the chance to work in the top companies of the world. Hi, CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is improved with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. Placements: After all, it boils down to placements; the university must attract many companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. LPU has excellent placement stats that ranges from 5-42 LPA. I suggest that U should go with LPU. The placement of LPU is very good.600+ companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of the students got placed. Last year a girl placed in microsoft with a package of 42 Lacs per annum. The placement staff of LPU works very hard for bringing the company in the camp. LPU also have tie ups with foreign university that will help student to place in foreign universities. LPU campus is so lovely. The whole campus is under cctv. So no issue of security problems. Hostels are well maintained. Food is good for health. LPU also provide a sports ground with very experienced coach. The university is having a university-hospital which is free of cost for the students. Ambulance service is free for 24 hrs. Wi-Fi facility in all the hostels. Smart classroom. Whole university is online so you can do anything from your mobile. There is no compensation in studies, whenever a teacher on leave then the makeup classes will be arranged for the teacher. There are restriction on teachers also, they also have to take permission for late night entry. Apart from this, LPU also have clubs which will help you to enlighten your talent whether it is in singing, anchoring, acting, dancing or any other. You will get to know about diversity in India. Foreigners also live in LPU that will help you know about there culture. So BEST OF LUCK!
