I suggest not to fall for glitzy advertisements for placements, but give a deeper thought to compare your shortlisted colleges. Mainly you must compare on industry interface, technologies being taught, curriculum developed with industry feedback, entrepreneurship and community projects, student diversity, infrastructure, centers for excellence setup by Industry etc. All these factors are the ones which contribute the maximum towards placements.
