I can tell you about LPU. The placement of LPU is very good.600+ companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of the students got placed. Last year a girl placed in microsoft with a package of 42 Lacs per annum. The placement staff of LPU works very hard for bringing the company in the camp. LPU also have tie ups with foreign university that will help student to place in foreign universities. Apart from this infrastructure is extremely good.

B.Tech CSE is a highly dynamic programme, It offers the maximum number of employment opportunities. I suggest not to fall for glitzy advertisements for placements, but give a deeper thought to compare your shortlisted colleges. Mainly you must compare on industry interface, technologies being taught, curriculum developed with industry feedback, entrepreneurship and community projects, student diversity, infrastructure, centers for excellence setup by Industry etc. All these factors are the ones which contribute the maximum towards placements. I have done a lots of research on all these universities in last 16 years, can vouch for the fact that LPU is way ahead of any private educators in India. Attracting 30000 students and 600 top notch companies from all over the world speaks for itself.

Both the universities are good. I would like to say that LPU is synonymous with B Tech CSE. B Tech CSE is one of the fortes of LPU. Being a faculty of LPU I would like to share some details of the B Tech CSE department of LPU : Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from the pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Tie-ups with Industries: LPU has tie-ups with many reputed industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, and Upgrade. CompTIA, Transport, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field.
