The best universities for doing B.Tech in automobile engineering through lateral entry are Delhi College of Engineering, Maharaja Agrasen-Delhi (affiliated from IP University), LPU-Punjab, Chandigarh University, Graphic Era University-Dehradun, DIT-Dehradun and College of Technology
