Chandigarh University is definitely better than the LPU in terms of placement opportunities and alumni network. The Chandigarh University has also signed many MoUs with foreign universities which provides an exposure to the students. Last year around 2000 engineering students got placed in various multi-national companies.

I would like to recommend Chandigarh University for doing BE Biotechnology engineering. Because CU is Asia's fastest growing university, who got NAAC A+ GRADE in very young age, and CU has very good placement records. So you can undoubtedly choose Chandigarh University.

    Hi,
Chandigarh University is the better choice among these two. A few reasons for it are :
    1. NAAC A+ Grade makes the degree globally recognised and gets us better placements.
    2. Next GEN industry collaborations
    3. Internships are in top industries of the area
    4. Pre-Internship and Pre-placements programs to make the student industry ready completely.
    5. Well-equipped labs.
    6. Faculty has both industry and academic experience.
    CU is the better choice.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
