MBA in Finance has more job opportunities in areas such as banks, investment and portfolio management firms, accounts departments of companies etc. On the other hand, MBA in Marketing has job opportunities in areas such as brand management, advertising, sales departments etc.

Both the streams are the best stream to pursue MBA, even MBA in operations and MBA in HR is also good, but again it all depends upon your level of interest. Well, you will get a chance in your first year to figure out what you are choosing between the two of them, as in the first year of MBA student studies and do projects on all the courses considering Finance, Marketing, Operations, and HR, this is an opportunity you will get to choose what you want to do and which subjects seems easy for you.

Dear Sujata, it totally depends on your interest. You can read about the subjects that are covered as part of each specialization to get a fair idea. Since you are doing a BAF course, you might be interested in the concepts of Finance more. We have great in-house as well as visiting faculties like Mr. Shivanand Mankekar, Mr. Sandeep Gokhale, etc. for Finance and Mr. Jagdeep Kapoor, Mr. Chittaranjan Bhattacharjee for Marketing. The placements are almost same for both the specializations.

The first year of mba is common for all and you will get an idea of the specialization you like.So you have one year to decide your specialization, and its all about interest. Both the specialisations are good in terms of faculty and placements in our college.
