Which is the entrance exam for Diploma courses in LPU?

Hello! You will be glad to know that due to COVID-19 LPU has taken an initiative and has relaxed their eligibility criteria and Entrance exam is exempted for most of the programmes. There is no entrance exam for Diploma courses at LPU. You can apply for Diploma after your Class 10th, depending upon fulfilling the eligibility criteria. LPU offers Diploma in Engineering, Management, Design, Architecture, Hotel Management and Tourism, Fashion Design and MLT/ Paramedical Sciences. Eligibility for admission in any of the above Diploma course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with English) or equivalent. LPU carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a zenith. So due to the grim situation created by covid the time lines have been shifted a little. You can also opt for Dual Programs, with will get you admission in Diploma and graduation. This will also help you financially. Further you can also apply for Scholarships through LPU NEST. Scholarships Available are : Scholarship on the basis of Percentage in qualifying exam COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the Frontline Workforce Scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST Scholarship on the basis of Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular and Social Service Bravery Award Fee Concession for Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependants Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board. Scholarship for Orphan Applicants. Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability. It would be better if you take admission by 31st July to avail the benefits offered by LPU. There are various Diploma programs on offer at LPU in the fields of : Engineering Management Architecture MLT/ Paramedical Sciences Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) Admission Criteria Merit in qualifying examination If your marks in 10th don't fall in any scholarship slab, you can still apply for LPU NEST and avail the scholarships upto 40% of programme fee. Deepak, there is no test for admission to Diploma. The eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. LPU offers scholarship if you have 70% or more in class 10 otherwise you can give LPUNEST for scholarship.
