If that university offer PhD in the area of study you are interested then that is the best.Don't get carried away by rankings.

Hi Chayal, there are lots of Universities well known for Science and technology abroad. Since you have asked specifically about UK and Canada in your next question am answering your question on the same basis. By the time you are ready to enrol for a UG course there will be a few more Universities
