    the best book i would recommend is QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS. Author-GUHA . Publisher-TATA MCGRAW HILL . It is a comprehensive step by step guide for quantitative aptitude tests of various competitive examinations like SSC Graduate level examinations , bank PO examinations of various banks , RBI officers examinations,RRB Examinations (for recruitment of ASMs), LIC GIC Examinations (for recruitment of AAOs) ,Examinations for recruitment of Management trainees and assistant manager, examinations conducted by the UPSC including CDS NDA , Examinations for recruitment of inspectors for central Excise Income Tax etc.
