    I think all the branches of engineering are versatile and they all are interesting. It totally depends on you that how you take it. So, I think if you are good with your basics you can take any of the branches. If you want to join the corporate sector than any of the IT branches and if you genuinely want the field work and love doing practical things than CIVIL and Electrical is one of the best branches. It may feel that you will face some issues in the beginning but with experience, you will gain much importance.

Now the answer to your query is not so simple because it's a matter of perfection, like we invariably feel that the grass on the other side is greener than my side In the same fashion we always perceive that my job is more demanding than the job of other person.
