Please first understand which degrees are offered in Animation.
B.Sc Animation is a 3-years duration course.
Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) Course in Animation is a 4-years duration course. The four years course includes 2d, 3d, VFX, etc. The difference between the two degrees is that the B.Des. Course is not only 1 year more but offers usually an international syllabus, which is completely focused on Animation only.

As far as animation is concerned, there are many decent colleges providing this course and shaping up the career of the students. Animation is the most advanced technology which is opted by many students.
