Which is the right time to start preparation for IAS exam ?
MY AIM IS TO BE AN IAS OFFICER BUT MY FRIENDS USE TO SAY THAT I SHOULDSTART PREPARING FROM RIGHT NOW BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO GIVE TIME ON THIS AS I'M PERSUIONG B.TECH RIGHT NOW.SO PLEASE INSTRUCT ME WHAT SHOULD I DO SO THAT I MAY FULFILL MY DREAM?MYSELF AKASH FROM GHAZIABAD

Hi Akashdeep,
As you are pursuing Btech and want to become an IAS, i would suggest you to join coaching and start your preparation when you are in your 3rd year as that will be the right time for you to start your preparation because you are eligible for IAS once you are a graduate from a recognized

Akashdeep, your friends are right when they say that for UPSC exams you need to start preparing from now onwards itself. What you need to understand is that for beggining to prepare for UPSC exams at this stage when you are doing your engg, you need NOT stop your engg studies. What you need to do is

AS I WANT TO TELL YOU DIRECTLY THAT THERE IS NO ANY TIME LIMIT FOR PREPARING THIS EXAM .WHENEVER YOU FEEL THAT YOUR MIND IS READY TO PREPARE THEN FROM THAT TIME YOU SHOULD START PREPARING FOR IT AND YOU MAY START IN THE FIRST YEAR OF YOUR GRADUATION
