    Delhi Maritime Academy provides a variety of courses related to the shipping and naval industry.

    The top course offered by the institute is the Diploma in Nautical Sciences.

    DNS is a 1 year Diploma course which focuses in fundamentals of Mathematics, IT, Physics and Nautical Sciences and advanced nautical technologies.

    DNS is a full time course approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India. The Exams related to this course are taken by the Indian Maritime University, Chennai.

    There are many good courses to pursue at Delhi Maritime Academy, out of which the top course DMA offers is Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS). This course is 1 year long and after 18 months of its service students can earn a B.Sc. in Nautical Science. They are provided with a Certificate of competency from the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. This certificate helps students to become nagivating officer on board merchant Naval ships.
