Which is tougher to crack: IBSAT or CMAT?

Hi, IBSAT and CMAT both exams are for management admission. Through these exams, one can get admission in good management institutes.CMAT is tougher than IBSAT. IBSAT exam includes Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. CMAT includes Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, etc. So both the exams have similar content but only differ in difficulty level. Institutes like IBS Business School, ICFAI University, etc. also give admission through IBSAT and institutes like JBIMS-Mumbai, Goa Institute of Management-Goa, K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management, etc. also give admission through CMAT. So if we prepare for CMAT then it will be easy to score best in IBSAT.

There is nothing such thing called tougher to crack or easy to crack. This view depends upon the preparation of the exam you are giving. There are number of exams conducted in India for the MBA type courses. Exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, IBSAT, NMAT, SNAP, etc. have some minor tweaking and variations apart from the main sections. Each of these exams has quantitative aptitude, Verbal reasoning, Logical reasoning and data interpretation, apart from GK or essay writing section in some of the exams. So, you have to prepare accordingly for these exams either by taking coaching classes or correspondence course or by self-preparation or by following recommended books. After you have prepared for the most difficult level questions, you may try to get some question banks for the specific exam you are targeting either offline mode I.e. books on exams or online mode I.e. free question banks websites or paid question banks for practice.

Simple answers are 'none' or 'both'. It solely depends upon you how difficult you make this exam. None of these exam will be difficult for you if you are well prepared and may be both of the exam are big hurdle for you if you don't have prepare for it. IBSAT and CMAT are all like other exam which tests your ability and skills. If you have adopted an effective preparation strategy and you know time management then you can crack both the exam easily.If you are preparing for CAT and XAT then CMAT/IBSAT is going to be a cakewalk for you.
