Both the exams are pretty much same in terms of difficulty level. So, it depends on which exam's pattern you are more comfortable with. So, none of them is more difficult than other in absolute terms. -
Cracking is just a relative term.There is nothing called tougher to crack or easy to crack. This view depends upon the preparation of the exam you are giving. There are a number of exams conducted in India for the MBA type courses. Exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, IBSAT, NMAT, SNAP, etc. have some minor tweaking and variations apart from the main sections. XAT is for admission to XLRI (Xavier's Labour Reform Institute and IBSAT is for Indian School of Business. Both are among the top ones but XLRI is much better and top-most as compared to IBS. Also, the level of XAT is more difficult as compared to IBSAT. You need to be more clear from your basic to clear your XAT exam like it has the section of decision making, aptitude, English and general awareness. For admission to ICFAI Business School, candidates must meet the overall cutoff criteria specified for CAT, XAT, GMAT and IBSAT. Based on the cutoff criteria, candidates will be shortlisted for the micro presentation and personal interview rounds. - Micro presentation
- Personal interview
The IBSAT 2025 selection rounds will commence in second week of February 2026 at IBS Hyderabad. Candidates with IBSAT/CAT/NMAT/XAT or GMAT scores will be shortlisted for selection rounds.
IBSAT 2025 scorecard will be issued online to all the test takers. Candidates who will appear for the online exam on December 27 and December 28 can download the result online at general.ibsindia.org. Candidates will not be issued the scorecard offline. To download the IBSAT result 2025, candidates must visit the official IBSAT webiste and click on tab 'IBSAT result' and enter their login details to view and take print of scorecard.
