If you have appeared for both Jan and April, best out of the two will be considered. This year however, Thapar has made two criterias available. 1) Based on your JEE score and 2) Based on your 12th class percentage (PCM OR PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 30% and 70% respectively. You can choose as per your suiting. The institute has just opened this application form.

Out of January exam and April exam performance, the better of the two scores will be considered. NTA will allot you a NTA rank based on the better of the two. Thapar will consider this rank allotted by NTA.

Best of the two is considered for admission in any college that takes admission through JEE. Thapar Institute should also accept the best score from both exams.

    Hello Deepika,
National testing agency which is conducting these two sets of JEE Mains examinations will be declaring the results after completion of second round sometime in the month of April. While calculating the result best out of the two principle will be used. Based on this principle, the all India rank also will be declared. Hence any institution desiring to use the results of this examination conducted by NTA will be as per the all India ranking meaning best of the two. Best wishes to you.
