There are various job avenues which are open for a student once he/she completed graduation in journalism - but only when it is accompanied by a post graduate degree in the same subject (except in exceptional cases - where one gets job soon after graduation).

Choosing the right internship and the right minor will help you go far in any of the following career paths. Advertising, Broadcasting (TV/Radio/Web), Journalism (Newspaper/Online), Public Relations, Marketing, Publishing, Film, and any other subcategories from these.
