Which line is good: aerospace technical publication (aerospace) or technical illustrator (automobile) in terms of future?

Hi Ajeet, Technical Publication (Aerospace) : Interesting job but less pay. Maximum companies try to take candidates with less salary and get the job done. Very slow growth. If you are lucky you might get good onsite opportunity. Technical Illustrator (Automobiles) : Technical illustrations has its scope predominantly on Aerospace and Automobile sectors. If you are a fresher, learn CATIA, Isodraw, Adobe Illustrator, Autotrol Tech-Illustrator as in-depth as possible. This is one of the fields where on-site opportunities are relatively higher when compared to other sectors, provided that you have enough expertise and knowledge. Switching companies every two years will help to boost your package. There are companies such as Wipro, HCL, Capgemini, P3, L&T, GGS, Lionbridge, Airbus, Quest, Safron, CDG-Boeing and some more Aerospace/Automobile companies run by Technical illustrators and Authors. Nowadays, PTC CADprocess and Dassault's 3Dvia are also been used to ease the work. Learning this software will be an added advantage. In future, Digital Mockup may replace all illustrative works. So, paddle up to learn that too. All in all, Updating yourself over time will definitely help you to hava a better scope in Technical Illustrations.
