It depends upon your B-school preference, both the exams are unique and considered important. If you're targeting NMIMS (Mumbai and other campuses), XIMB, Amity University, etc., then you need to give the NMAT exam. NMAT & CMAT both have their own importance. NMAT ofcourse gets you a GDPI with NMIMS. But even CMAT has it is own importance if NMAT option doesn't work.
