Which mass communication course is better - PG Diploma or general PG?

    Dear Anjali,
    In my opinion, PG in mass communication is better. Diplomas are generally meant to teach a certain specific area or subject within mass communication. If you want to get a holistic understanding of mass communication and you have academic interests for the future, a Diploma will not help you. For example, you cannot appear for NET (National Eligibility Test for lecturership) or JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) with a PG Diploma.

    PG in mass communication is a better option rather than PG Diploma as you can get better career prospects.
