Which MBA exam is better to get admission in the top colleges of India especially in Bangalore?

    Hi Mithun,
    You should definitely give CAT and XAT exams. These two exams cover most of the top MBA colleges and for some colleges, they will consider the better of these two exams. Apart from these, IIFT conduct its own separate exam which is generally not used by other colleges. NMIMS and Symbiosis are other colleges which insists on writing their own exams (NMAT and SNAP). TISSNET exam is also separate to gain admission for TISS (if you are interested in HR). Writing these exams can be expensive and therefore, if you have money constraints, just aim to write CAT and XAT, otherwise you could pick up a few others (they might even help

    CAT and XAT are the two major exams that one should give. CAT gives you access to admission in IIMs, FMS and various other colleges.
    While, XAT score is accept by XLRI and a few other colleges as well.

    These days, MBA admission are only happening through CAT exams. So, go for it and you can get in a good college. All the best.

    It completely depends upon your preferred college. CAT is the most important one followed by XAT, TISSNET and IIFT. These four make you eligible for top 10 B-Schools. Other exams like CMAT, NMAT and SNAP are a bit less important. They are more college specific.

    Specifically for Bangalore colleges, I suggest you to go for CAT XAT and PGCET exams, as these are most preferred at colleges in Bangalore.
