Which MBA in FT should I go for, 1 year or 2 year?

I am BE (IT) with 5 years of work experience in IT industry. I want to switch my career from IT to Finance.

Since you have 5 years IT experience, it is going to be difficult to shift to finance. Finance companies mostly look for people with relevant experience or freshers. Moving to a role in finance department do not look feasible to me. But, I would suggest you to move to IT development of a finance firm such as Goldman Sachs.

A regular MBA is of 2 year duration. For higher education prospects, you must pursue a regular MBA. One year MBA may be an Executive MBA for those employed seeking career advancement.
