Which MBA school will be better for me: LM Thapar School of Management or LPU or Mittal School of Business?

Dear Kapil, Both are reputed institutions, While Thapar has a ling legacy and heritage in its favor but the School of Management is a recently opened faculty. LPU o the other hand has leaped far ahead in every aspect such as: # Industry consulted curriculum # Experiential learning teaching pedagogy # Technology trainings such as SAP, Financial modelling, Advanced excel, GitHub, Work Day, Proquest and other MOOCs # Professional etiquette: The center for professional enhancement kicks in from the first term itself. # Internships and industry interface. # Entrepreneurship : Set up of innovation. Design thinking and business incubation labs along with SEED capital facility for start ups. # Community projects : to develop humane side as well as organizing skills. # Student diversity : With students from all states and 70 more countries I makes perfect multicultural society to develop right cultural sensibilities as well as international networks! Lastly the placements: LPU's track record in placements in unmatched, more than 200 companies recruit from Mittal school of business and about 50 offer packages more than 10 LPA ! Hi Kapil Chopra, Having an offer through campus placements, you can try out your hands on any other fields if you are keen about; entrepreneurship or any competitive exam ( which you are not sure of making through or continuing with ) or anything else for that matter. In case of any fallback, you have this option to take up thereby avoiding the turmoil of job search and the family/peer stress if you had to face with. Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialisation, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance, work experience etc. I was part of BBA-MBA course batch 20112016 at Lovely professional University. So lets say like this our college life started when this University was quite young as it started in 2006. Lets talk about experience: Ministry of Human Resource Government of India Ranked Lovely Professional University No. 2 in India management (Outreach and Inclusivity). LPU surpassed all Iims, including IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bang The placements are tremendous and you will get plenty of opportunities to choose from but it is your duty to maintain a capable academic record so that you can fetch a job in the best company that visits the university for recruitment. The placement in MBA at LPU is about 95% and above. Almost all batches were placed in well-known companies. Average package offered for MBA students is 4.5 LPA. Some of the leading companies (like Practo, Think and Learn, Colgate, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Axis bank, WNS, CISCO etc. ). Recruited a good number of students from our department with the maximum package of 17 Lacs. Every year, Around 550+ companies visit for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2019, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2019 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) his companies are visited LPU campus for recruitment. If you want a good return on your investment be it time or money I say go for LM Thapar School of Management. They have a great faculty, amazing placements and even global opportunities for job and internship. Their admissions are closing soon, if you have LPU n Mittal as options LTMSM is way-way beyond comparison.
