Hi Balwinder, Both the streams you mentioned are good. You must choose according to your interests, aptitude, bent of mind, hobbies, favorite subjects etc. Normally the Masters in Mathematics is an academic programme with career prospects in teaching and research. But some universities like LPU have successfully turned it into professional programme with outcomes which enable corporate jobs too. MBA is a purely professional programme aimed at attaining the jobs in management and careers in entrepreneurship. Both these programs have different outcomes, different career scope, different curriculum and different type of people pursue thes

Hi Balwinder. Well, if you want to pursue your career as a teacher then you should go with M.Sc. Mathematics or physics because you have studied physics as a subject in your graduation also. Otherwise, go for MBA. LPU is best for MBA. Look at the various features:
Curriculum: The curriculum of MBA at LPU is very Industry oriented. There is a term CDR (Curriculum Development Research) held after each and every 6 months in which many senior industry people suggest that what is the need of present day industry are. Hello!
Each and Every course has their own scope and requirement in market. But considering the overall terms, I would say MBA is more booming. Since you have done your B.Sc. From Science background, I would recommend you to go with specialised MBA. MBA (Business Analytics)
An MBA in Business Analytics is a multidisciplinary degree, and includes training in both technical skills, business fundamentals, management practices, leadership, and communication, in addition to those skills specific to business analytics. While MBA will impart the much needed business acumen, Analytics will equip the candidate with the ability to identify patter

IIMs is not the only option in management field, there are other very good management colleges. After doing management, the opportunities for placement will be wider than by doing M.Sc.

Among the course between MBA and Mathematics, I would say that both the course are phenomenal. Both the courses are different and has a different scope and different opportunities. Thus, both the courses are equally same and none of them are superior than other. So, MBA with IB & Analytics will be better. As per my view, as a Science student, you will be loving the analytical part. Thus, as per my suggestion, MBA in Marketing/Analytics or IB is better.
