NIFT Delhi is the best college for fashion design in India. Established in 1986, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi initially offered only one design course from a temporary two-room set-up. In 1994, NIFT Delhi shifted to its permanent campus which was designed by Dr BV Doshi.
