Due to higher cutoff ranks it may be difficult to gain admission to prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for subjects like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or the Electrical Engineering (EE) if you have an All India Rank (AIR) of 172383 in JEE Mains and fall within the OBC-NCL
