    With a 72 percentile in JEE Main and belonging to the EWS category, getting into top NITs or IIITs may be challenging, but you might have a chance in newer or lower-ranked NITs/IIITs, especially under Home State quota and in less sought-after branches. It's advisable to participate in JoSAA counselling and also explore options through CSAB special rounds.
