With a 90 percentile in JEE Mains and a 117489 rank, securing a seat in top NITs might be challenging, but you have a chance at newer or less sought-after NITs. Possible options include:

    • NIT Mizoram
    • NIT Arunachal Pradesh
    • NIT Sikkim
    • NIT Meghalaya

Admission chances also depend on the branch preference and category (general, OBC, SC/ST). These NITs offer good education and opportunities, even if they are newer. Participating actively in the JoSAA counseling process and considering state quota and category benefits can enhance your chances of admission.

For general and OBC candidates, an aggregate of 75% or more is required, and ST, SC and PwD candidates require 65% or more. It depends on your 12th score.
