VJTI is most preferred and favorite amongst students for its excellent 100% placements record and its overall value. KJSCE on other hand has 80% Placements for CS students on average since 2012. Inspite of being such good brand, the technical committee fails to bring out prominent recruiters with splendid offers. Certainly, it fairs lower compared to VJTI. A snapshot of Placements details for CS branch. VJTI: -
    Average Package: 7 LPA
    Maximum Package:-75 LPA
    Median package:- 10 LPA

    Hello,
There is no comparison between VJTI-Mumbai which is the top-most college in India and the KJSCE. VJTI is the government aided autonomous institute while KJSCE comes under Mumbai University and autonomous colleges are always better than any other universities.
Talking about academic studies, VJTI has got very active and experienced faculty members while in KJSCE faculty is not good. Both colleges have no strict rules about attendance. So it is a good thing. The infrastructure of VJTI is old, it is not that much good as the campus of KJSCE college. Canteen in the KJSCE is good and variety of foods and snacks available at a reasona

VJTI is a brand name. If we carefully analyse the statistics of placement through campus, we may come to the conclusion that VJTI is the best, of course, after IIT-B in Mumbai. Matchable only with COEP. KJSCE is also a good college but VJTI can provide more exposure. It comes under Mumbai University, whereas, VJTI is a government aided autonomous institute. Also as VJTI provides B.Tech degree, it is better than a BE from any other university college. The choice is personal. Opinions may vary.
    All the best.
