    First of all, there is no better or worse in between DTU and BITS-Pilani's ECE and mechanical. It all depends on your interest that in which field you want to indulge yourself. But I will clarify the major points of the courses of DTU and BITS-Pilani. Cut-offs for ECE are usually are high (around 15000 JEE Mains rank) and so the students who get this branch have an in born aptitude for doing well in academics. DTU ECE students are yearly recruited by companies like Qualcomm, SanDisk, TI, Texas, Samsung, ARM, Nvidia, Freescale and many other core electronics companies.     BITS stand among top 5 universities in India as per the latest government rankings framework.     Hi,
    Both the colleges are very much reputed along with excellent placement records, so it’s quite tough to select which one is better, however, ECE from DTU is more better option.
    Here is a comparison between them:

    First of all, there are two different aspects to this question:
    You need to decide whether you want to pursue B.Tech in electronics and communication branch or mechanical branch that is whether physics or mechanics excites you the most and once you are done with deciding the branch you want to pursue in engineering you are good to go with selecting the college of your choice.
    Now, I would list the advantages that you would get if you take admission in BITS-Pilani over Delhi Technical University.

    Mechanical Engineering from BITs Pilani fetches 80% Placements on average past 5years and the average salary offered is 7lpa with highest upto 22lpa.
    Contrary, DTU is great for ECE.
    Placement is quite good here. The average package lies in the range of 8-9 LPA CTC.
    Highest is 65lakhs per annum. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, etca lot more recruit the students. The highest package goes as high as 65lpa.
    Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is average.
