Both are very good colleges and I guess ECE from NSIT has a upper hand.

DTU ranks way higher and has the highest brand recognition in equivalent to IIT and NIT and shares some impeccable records for Placements in ECE. Placement is quite good here. The average package lies in the range of 8-9 LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, etc. Recruit the students. The highest package goes as high as 30 LPA. Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is average. Students who have a good GPA are mostly selected for PPOs and also the

Both the colleges are equally good in terms of the fact that the acceptance rate for both the colleges is really low because of which only beautiful Minds make it to the college and so is the reason why the college has excellent placement record each year.
Although there are some advantages that one might get if he chooses Delhi Technical University over Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology which are mentioned below:
Delhi Technical University as the name suggests has been granted University status by NAAC while at the same time NSIT is also trying to when a University status and has been making changes to the course for the same.

Both these colleges are equally good, while talking about faculty, placements, exposure. But, in my views, one should go for DTU, as I think the placement scenario is slightly higher in it. Hope it helps.
    Thank you.

    Hey there,
I think NSIT ECE is far better than that of DTU. I am giving the reasons why NSIT ECE is better than that of DTU especially, if you are interested in Analog electronics or want to pursue some higher studies related to core Electronics.
NSIT has a better faculty for electronics than that of DTU Some of the professor here are highly recognized and respected, like Raj Senani and Gadre Sir. NSIT ECE faculty is fantastic, especially when it comes to research. You can do various sorts of projects under them. NSIT has a CEDT LAB which is funded by Texas Instruments. This lab is quite famous, not just among NSITians but people from ot

These two colleges have done remarkably well in the field of engineering. Despite of being state level engineering institution the Infrastructure of both the Colleges are just too good. Earlier DTU( earlier Delhi college of engineering ) was affiliated to prestigious Delhi University but Netaji Subhash Institute of technology (NSIT) is still under Delhi University(although it's an autonomous institute).
I think NSIT should be a better choice. If you compare the placement of both the colleges, then NSIT will beat DTU. Although the difference is not much but one can't easily neglect this.

It is important for you to note that both the colleges that you've mentioned used to be under Delhi University till 2009 when DTU was formed. So, essentially, there is not any major difference in both with respect to faculty, student life, placement and fee structure. I think that DTU now has more autonomy and can make alterations in its curriculum which NSIT struggles to. That said, NSIT attracts better recruiters and if stats are to be believed, the average CTC for an ECE graduate at NSIT will be higher than DTU.
So, the difference lies only at a very minute level and if you get admitted in either you are deemed to have a decent expe

Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.

However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.

You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.

Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.

If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.
